Becak is a tricycle
public transport which commonly found in Asia in the past.
It’s can be human
powered by pedaling or can be powered by motor.
There are 2 types of becak, one with driver sit
at the back and the other in the front of the passengers.
To my surprise at
the beginning I can easily found becak at several big cities in Europe. Here I attached
the pictures.
While in Asia normally hired
by local people for a short distance commuting in their daily life, in Europe
it seems becak mostly hired by tourist for fun to see around the city centre. |
